To assist pet owners in finding their lost dog or missing cat, TASSO has developed a free app that enhances the feature of "TASSO search alerts". What does this mean? The TASSO search alerts are displayed directly on your smartphone for a location you specify, providing you with a comprehensive overview of animals reported missing to TASSO. This way, you can help distraught pet owners with just a few taps and contribute to more animals finding their way back home.

Additional features are available to ensure swift and comprehensive service, guaranteeing the protection of every animal in case of emergency.

You have the option to link your existing registration to a "MyTASSO" user account. Once this personal user account is set up, all registered animals can be added, giving you an overview of all your pets. If an animal goes missing, it can be reported as such through the app in a few simple steps. Additionally, preset search settings and uploading a photo to the animal profile are possible. These presets can save valuable time in an emergency.

Furthermore, you can link a GPS tracker with an animal profile in the app. If an animal linked to a tracker goes missing, you can activate the public sharing of the tracker's position. If the search area of TASSO search helpers overlaps with your sharing settings, search volunteers can see the tracker's position and act swiftly.
